Engineering Services

Nimet’s technical staff is among the most experienced in the industry. We are happy to provide technical and engineering advice to specify the right metal finish for your profile. Nimet’s anodizing and electroless nickel solutions, among others, are limitless. If we can’t provide the process you need, we will refer the vendor who can.

Automated Communications

Nimet’s ERP system integration will notify you at various stages of the production process to inform you about the status of your order. Receiving, processing, packing and shipping are milestones that can be flagged to notify you of our progress. Login for order status and invoicing, automatic email notifications and other paperless communications will save time, money and hassle.

Quoting & Order Turnaround

Speed counts and we know it. In addition to quick 24-hour quotes, we provide lightning fast turnaround times for orders. In most cases, we will ship your parts, finished to your unique specifications, within 5-7 working days from the time of order. Your custom order will appear at your door a short time after you’ve placed the order.

Inbound Inspection & Control

We make sure that all incoming parts are inspected on a statistical basis and carry out continuous process monitoring. We also use in-process measurement of parts for precise coating thickness, statistical analysis methods for process control, and titrating of solutions to maintain consistent chemical formulations.

Custom & Speciality Services

For the past 45 years, Nimet Industries has specialized in the development and application of metal coatings that improve lubricity and wear characteristics to meet your specific needs. We provide services, such as common precision hardcoat anodizing, electroless nickel plating, sulfuric acid anodizing, chemical conversation coatings, solid film lubricants, dry blast, masking, and post-finishing light-assembly of components.

Assembly & Packaging

With Nimet, you’ll know that your order placed is exactly what you’ll receive - the first time, every time. We’ll ship your finished parts back to you exactly as we received them, in the same packaging, and by means of the same carrier. More about Quality Assurance

Rigid quality assurance procedures, continuous in-process inspection and statistical process-control evaluation are more than just buzzwords at Nimet. They're the basis of how we approach our customers' exacting needs.

Quality assurance begins with routine statistical-sample inspection of incoming parts. We use customer-supplied reference blueprints and data. If deviations outside normal standards are found, customers are notified immediately so that problems can be addressed before processing begins. Because of this thorough incoming inspection service, many customers ask their suppliers to drop-ship their parts directly to Nimet.

All hardcoat anodizing processes - including Nimet's proprietary Nituff® - are monitored and controlled by specially trained inspection personnel. We also verify critical part dimensions before and after processing to ensure that exacting tolerances are met. Such care is especially important in the anodizing process, which actually converts surface aluminum to form a portion of the resulting aluminum oxide coating.

In addition, we have a number of procedures in place to facilitate the flow of parts through the plant, thereby ensuring high-quality results at the most cost-effective price possible. These include:
